OC Fair Commercial Wine Competition

The Orange County Wine Society is proud to host the OC Fair Commercial Wine Competition especially during our 50th Anniversary. This is the largest competition of wines made exclusively from California grapes. There is NO ENTRY FEE! Wineries submit six bottles per entry (three bottles for limited-production wineries producing less that 1000 total cases per year). Your wines will be judged by commercial winemakers and winery principals. This is a double blind tasting, even the stewards do not know whose wine they are pouring. The wines will be judged by type, varietal, price and sugar categories (including low and no alcohol wines). Awards of Best of Class, Double Gold, Gold, Silver and Bronze will be awarded and points will be given to Double Gold and Gold Medal winners. Bottles and labels are eligible for our label and bottle design competition. Results are posted on our WineCompetition.com website and on social media. Competition wines are tasted by tens of thousands of wine lovers during the 23 days at the OC Fair.
