Klenz Lecture with Michael Mondavi, "The Cycles of Demand in the Wine Industry"

October 7 @ 17:00
Organized by: Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science, UC Davis
The wine industry is facing many challenges today, including climate change, wildfires and maybe most significantly, a reduction of alcohol consumption by consumers. Is this trend likely to shape the future of vineyards and wineries, or is it an example of the cyclical nature of supply and demand? Michael Mondavi, Founder and Chairman of Folio Fine Wine Partners has seen many industry ups and downs over decades in the wine business. He’ll share knowledge and insights, including lessons learned, opportunities for improvement, and whether he sees anything different about this particular downturn.

Event Schedule:
5:00 pm: Doors open, welcome reception with a hosted bar.
6:00 pm: Lecture
7:30 pm: Event ends.
